TENYA is the most successful tendon restaurant chain in Japan. Once regarded as expensive, TENYA aims to provide our customers with high quality tendon and tempura at an affordable price. 

The founder, Mr. Yoshio Iwashita, started this mission in 1989 when he opened its first outlet in the Yaesu underground mall at Tokyo station. 

We offer authenticity. Many of our ingredients and equipment come from Japan to ensure we provide the best tasting products we can offer to you, our customers. Aside from Japan, TENYA is also operating in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Philippines. 

Tenya focuses on maintaining authenticity by utilizing specialized techniques and ingredients to bring traditional Japanese food culture to a broader audience.
